Crime Victim Advocate

Our Shelter Statistics

As an advocate we have numerous forms of advocacy we provide for our shelter residents and our outreach clients. We are able to provide transportation, information/referrals, housing and employment resources. We answer the crisis line and do our best to help the caller see their options so that they can pave their way to safety. Education, awareness and collaboration in the community is also important to these roles. We work together as a team to insure our clients can see all of their options so that they can move forward to a healthier and safe life.

Stalking

Willful repeated or continued harassment that would

cause a person to feel terrorized, frightened, intimidated, threatened or harassed.

Our mission is to serve survivors of domestic and sexual violence, to raise awareness, educate and involve the tri-county communities.

Our vision is to provide a safe location where all the needs of victims are met, children are protected, violence stops, families heal and thrive, economic justice increases, hope is realized, batterers are held accountable, and all professionals work together.

Domestic Violence

Is a pattern of behavior

used to establish power

and control over another person through fear and intimidation, often including the threat or use of violence
