Crime Victim Advocate
Our Shelter Statistics
As an advocate we have numerous forms of advocacy we provide for our shelter residents and our outreach clients. We are able to provide transportation, information/referrals, housing and employment resources. We answer the crisis line and do our best to help the caller see their options so that they can pave their way to safety. Education, awareness and collaboration in the community is also important to these roles. We work together as a team to insure our clients can see all of their options so that they can move forward to a healthier and safe life.
We offer youth support groups each week and individual sessions with residential and outreach clients. We can also provide presentations for schools to bring awareness to Teen Dating Violence & Domestic Violence.
We offer supportive counseling for residential and outreach clients, a women's support group run by these advocates is currently being offered for residential clients. We can also help with P.P.O's an N.C.O's and provide court support services.
